In its effort to proffer solutions and provide business development services to MSMEs in the FCT, the Abuja Enterprise Agency held the 7th Edition of its Annual Business 3600 recently in the Federal Capital City.
In his welcome address, the Managing Director of the Agency, Arabi Muhammed Tukur, said the Business 3600 event was designed to serve as a platform for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to access business opportunities and relevant information required for their growth and development.
He stated that the programme was conceived to provide the relevant business development services such as training, promotion, linkage, regulatory clinics, business advisory and other key areas on demand to the relevant Entrepreneurs.
“This year’s symposium with the theme ‘Strengthening the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Sub Sector: A Panacea for Economic Growth’ was specially designed and planned to strengthen the activities of the Entrepreneurs especially those who require them”.
“It is designed to bring Business Regulatory Bodies, Business Service Providers, Business Owners and Business Developers together towards creating a synergy that will be beneficial to the growth of Business in FCT”
He noted that the MSME are the engine room for economic growth, which requires strong backing if the country must compete favorably in the growth process of nations.
“It is, therefore, one of the Agency’s strategies aimed at eliminating regulatory bottlenecks that hamper business growth and promoting ethical business practice in FCT” he said.
