Today marked a significant milestone as the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) played host to the FCT-CARES Cash Transfer Entrepreneurship Training, an event aimed at empowering cash transfer beneficiaries with entrepreneurial skills to bolster their businesses. Under the patronage of the esteemed Permanent Secretary, Olubunmi Olowookere, the event saw the dynamic leadership of Acting Managing Director Chudi Ugwuada-Ezirigwe, who delivered a compelling address underscoring the pivotal role of entrepreneurship education in fostering sustainable business growth.

Addressing the eager participants, Mr. Ugwuada-Ezirigwe emphasized the importance of seizing the opportunity presented by the entrepreneurship course to enhance their enterprises. He underscored the agency's commitment to supporting budding entrepreneurs in unlocking their full potential and driving economic development in the region.

The event also witnessed the presence of Mr. Inuwa Mayo, the Operations Manager of Livelihood Cash, who delivered the closing remarks. Mr. Mayo commended the participants for their dedication and encouraged them to apply the knowledge gained to propel their businesses to new heights. His words echoed a sentiment of empowerment and resilience, highlighting the transformative impact of entrepreneurship on livelihoods.

Additionally, Mr. Umar Yusuf, Head of Operations at the Cash Transfer Unit, graced the occasion, reaffirming the collaborative effort between the agency and the cash transfer unit in facilitating the training. Mr. Yusuf reiterated the importance of such initiatives in equipping beneficiaries with the skills and resources necessary for entrepreneurial success.
