Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA), the Federal Capital Territory Administration's (FCTA's) vehicle for Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) development, employment generation, wealth creation and poverty reduction, recently organised a 10 day training programme on Economic Empowerment for HIV Vulnerable Women and Girls. The programme was an initiative of the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) to commemorate the annual 16 Days Activism against Gender-Based Violence (GBV).

Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) as part of its strategy of achieving its mandate to empower women and youths in the FCT by supporting the growth of Rural Enterprise recently held the grand finale that brought the 2nd edition of the Rural Skills Acquisition and Sensitization Initiative (RuSASI) to a close.
The Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) was established in 2006 as the FCT Administration's Vehicle for Entrepreneurial Development, Poverty Reduction and Wealth Creation with the mandate of accelerating business development in the FCT through designing and implementing projects, programmes and activities that would stimulate business growth; thereby creating employment and reducing poverty.

The FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello has reiterated the need to mitigate poverty through widening the scope of sustainable economic activities especially among youth in the nation's capital city.

The Abuja Enterprise Agency in partnership with Access Bank Plc. –"W" Initiative   organized a 2- day Financial Literacy for Women training Programme.

This programme which took place at the AEA Auditorium on the 27th-28th of February 2019 had thirty three women from all sphere of life in attendance.

The event which was to put up to develop and maintain the appropriate standards of competence for wealth management, risk management, financial planning and analysis, also involved Cash flow Planning & finical Management.

In order to alert and develop existing and aspiring entrepreneurs on the need to direct more focus towards diversification of Nigerian export trade, the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) has organized a 3 day free seminar for small and Medium Entrepreneurs (SME) within the FCT.

In line with the mandate to promote entrepreneurship in FCT; Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) in partnership with Rabbington Media, organized a one day Facebook training programme, titled "Boost Your Business" on Saturday 24th November, 2018.

The Permanent Secretary Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCT) Mr Chinyeaka Ohaa, has expressed the administration's willingness to partner with the Abuja Enterprise Agency to impact positively on the Youths in FCT.

He made this disclosure during a courtesy visit to the Agency last week to confirm its readiness for the established MSME One Stop Shop.

The Managing Director of Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA), Muhammad Tukur Arabi has pledged to partner with the Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council, Adamu Danze to train the youths of the Council in various skills and empower them in their endeavors.

We are focused on the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and aims to assist new and existing entrepreneurs to overcome obstacles to growth through access to finance, proper business planning and developing entrepreneurship skills.
